Christmas is here again

Hello all you lovely people!
Thanksgiving was great and I am now back in Canada trying to lose a few pounds to make room for some Christmas scran. Thanks Sheila, the turkey and sweet potatoes were
well worth the trip to Michigan.I think Kells keeping the chocky bowl filled up at home added to my gain around the gut also ha ha!!
Christmas is almost here again and I am back in Canada to play a bunch of dates and teach for a couple of weeks before heading back to the U.S. for the festive season.
Bryony Sean and Conor are all having Christmas in Canada with Kerry and her family this year so we will have our Christmas on the 21-22nd before I fly on the 23rd.
It sure would be nice if Michigan would switch with Montana for a week so the kids could come spend some time with us there. Its a long way from Alberta!!!!
Soon to be!! Summer is coming and it will be so nice for them to come down and check out the new Pad. Both Kellee and myself are looking forward to them all coming down and also getting to meet Shelbey.I think Sean wants to Pop the Groundhog with the 22.
Kellee's family are all joining us on Christmas day to have dinner and a couple of wobbly pops and I am looking forward to a couple of weeks at our home so we can relax and enjoy our time together.Kellee has agreed to keep the driveway and walk shoveled all the time I am there. She is so kind and good to me.
I told her I would help her by leaving the shovel at the front door every night before we go to bed. That's the least I could do for her.
Now its time for me to come out of my dream and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Take good care
Ian

My First American Thanksgiving

Hello everyone
just getting ready for another trip back home to see Kellee, Shelbey and the Bugster for Thanksgiving.( Thanks to Sheila (Kells Mom) for my invitation. This is the longest distance I have ever travelled to have Dinner ha ha! Better be good!!!!!!! I am sure it will be Sheila!!!!!
I managed to get some great deals on flights to Detroit for the next few visits. It is funny because 95% of my belongings are in Michigan at the house leaving me with my clothes, guitars and amps here in Canada. It feels like I am working in Canada and heading back to the States to go home.ha ha!
I do miss being there with Kells, they say all good things are worth waiting for.
She certainly is I can tell you that.I am a lucky man.
Business is good for me in Canada but I am really looking forward to the change ahead and getting started with my music down there. There certainly is a lot more going for me down there regarding playing the music I love.
I am going from a shitkicking country town to the land of the Blues.Funny how things work out.I have just started my Immigration process and will probably have to attend an interview when I get back there on Nov 27th. They asked me if I have a Police Record and I said yes of course Roxanne ha ha! Bad Joke.
Anyhow I hope you all the are doing fine out there, I am having all the Rugrats over for dinner today so I better get cooking. Here are some recent pics of Kells and all the kids.
Take care all
Ian

shortening the distance

Hi everyone!
Yes I am back in Michigan and it has been hotter than a B..tard this last 3 weeks.
Kellee and I are doing great and we have moved into a new home together In the Happening Town Of Parma MI. Ha Ha! it is actually very peaceful and every evening you can hear the lonesome moan of the train passing through the Village on its way to Detroit.
I just closed the deal on the house yesterday and we are all moved in and have been updating and redecorating our new pad. Conor and Kellee's daughter Shelbey are back into their school routine and Sean will be driving back with me from Canada at the end of September to help with moving my furniture. He is looking forward to his 30 hour jaunt across the promised land with Pops.
Hope you are all doing great, we will be posting before and after pics of the house soon so keep posted to check it out.

chow for now

A Warm Summer's Day in Michigan

This picture was taken today in Jackson, Michigan with my sweetheart Kellee.

I met Kellee last February at a resort in Mexico and we have been each others biggest fans since. She is a wonderful person who is caring, loving and has the biggest heart. Most of all, she is my best friend and I do believe that this is the end of the line as far as finding the woman I have always wanted. We are having a great two weeks together and the distance between Alberta and Michigan is always getting smaller. I hope you all are as happy for me as I am for myself.

She is wonderful and I cant wait for you all to meet her.

Signing off....

The Happy Welshman
