Its Raining Leaves from Kellee's Tree

Yep folks
Back again in Canada and I am starting to feel like a yo-yo ha ha!!
All is good and the immigration process is coming along nicely.
Kells has been really busy filling out forms online and we have been going like bees wings getting all the paperwork together for US immigration. Looks like Montreal is the location for the interview and medical soon to be in the making. I also need police records proving that I have been a good boy, I told them I have Roxanne on a 45 but they didn't get it ha ha! We have also been taking care of our wedding plans for the ceremony and reception ala beacho in Mexico. We are all booked up with the kids and are ready to go. Yes it will be nice for us to sit on that beach again along with our families and tip a few Long Islands and Miami vices down our Gregory Pecks. Cokes for the kids!!!!!!
Anyhow back to reality, I guess the sun is a little ways away yet. It is fall after all so here are a few pics of the trees from the village at home in Michigan. It is very colorful down there right now and yes we have both raked up many leaves from the yard. Great exercise that's for sure! Suckers keep coming from somewhere? I think we will have to have a chat with our neighbors ha ha!

All for now

Hot and Cold

Yes thats right my lovely ones,

The weather has changed drastically for us here in Canada, 25 above to 10 below NICE!!!!!
One minute I had my flippys on now I am wishing I brought my Mitts and Toque back from the Mitt.
The Mitt by the way is Michigan for all you critters North of the Border and over the pond. They call it the Mitt because the shape of the state looks like a glove or a mitt. There ya go! Something I found out myself this past year.
Oh well I will be back home Thursday with Kells and the temperature there and a big fat Smoooooch with my darling wife will warm me up I am sure. Cant wait baby!
I'm a Lucky Welshman you know!

Congratulations also to Captain Sunnybub Conor for getting the Captains job on the Hunting Hills senior volleyball team!!! Way to go buddy Go get the Dame and kick some butt!!!

Here are a few pics I took at the cottage for you all to enjoy!

1st taken 2 weeks ago and the 2nd taken 2 days ago.
I LIKE THE ONE FROM 2 WEEKS AGO!!!! Tough Ducks here in Canada ha ha!

Lazy Weekend

Hi Everyone

Well the house felt like a ghost town this week without the kids here, Kellee and I thought we had both gone deaf. Strange to have lots of noise and voices all over the house and then all of a sudden there is silence. Actually we kinda like it ha ha!!!
I know the binman is going to find the trash can a little easier to lift this Wednesday!!!!!!

This weekend has been a totally lazy one for us lying around and spoiling each other. Like Jack Johnson sings about having Banana pancakes and coffee forgetting there is a world outside and most importantly waking up SLOW.
It has been one year since we bought our home and it has come a long way. I just want to include this picture in our garden of the most beautiful, loving, best kissing, biscuit and gravy cooking wife in the world. I am the luckiest man around that now needs to do a few more sit ups ha ha!!!

Sproggies in the Mitt

Hi Everyone:

Well its been a while since I updated my blog and I do apologise but I have been wearing many hats this past 6 weeks down here in Michigan.I have been going like a bees wing in many ways ha ha!!!Plus Kells and I have been relaxing and sipping a few cocktails whenever we can.
Its been really nice to be at home in one place with Kellee for more than 3 weeks without having to fly I tell ya. All is going great and the weather has been wonderful in my eyes but not so much in the eyes of all the Michiganites down here.Everyone down here thinks its been a cold summer so far but it feels like Mexico to this Taff.
Bryony and Sean were here for a week and just left last Sunday to head back to Canada. Conor is staying an extra week and is hanging out with Miss Shelbey and they are getting along just great. We picked up Kellee after work yesterday and we all went to the Jackson County Fair where Kells introduced us to all the famous fair food that we got down our Gregory Pecks ( Necks that is for all you foreigners ha ha) Yes we were pretty stuffed after all the munching!! Conor is growing like a weed and Kellee and I now realise we need to have Meijer's deliver a Semi truck full of food every Monday to keep up with the food intake. ha ha! The farmer across the road asked if Conor could stay down longer so he could help fertilise his field ready for next year.
Anyhow here are a few pics from over the past few weeks with the kids so enjoy and stay tuned for more.
There is one of Farmer Conor also riding around on his new pimped ride ha ha!!!

Home for the Summer and Lord Stanley is Waiting

Well its back to Canada for me for 3 weeks and then I get to head back to be with my lovely wife for 10 weeks.
I just got back to Canada last Sunday after a nice week at home where Kells and I got lots of yard work done ready for the summer ahead.
I wish we could pull a few strings with Obama to hurry this whole immigration process up a little. Oh well, they say all good things are worth waiting for. I will be glad not to have to fly back and forth for a while I tell ya.
I have taken so many flights this past year the pilot on the flight last Sunday asked me to take over for an hour in the cockpit. ha ha!! I told him no because I was too busy eating peanuts and drinking Captain Morgan. Cheeky Beggar!! Get on with your job buddy!! gees!
The kids are all set to come down for the first part of August where they will see our Michigan pad and also meet Shelbey and Kells family for the first time. We have a few days planned for all the gang at Cedar Point etc...... the rest of the time they will be cutting grass ha ha!! good luck with that I guess.
We are having a big family cookout on August 8th at the Stewart Ranch / Zoo / Safari, keep posted for lots of pics. The newest creature to run around our garden a few days ago was a wild Turkey.Yes Turkey!!! Christmas at our house again this year folks, we will provide the bird ha ha! Kells and I are going to put a sign up on the front of the drive "Stewart Wildlife Tours $5" Gees we will make a fortune.

Anyhow I gotta go to sleep now to make sure I am rested enough tomorrow to watch the Wings win game 4 ready for the Saturday night game 5 party back in the Joe. ha ha
Go Boys its Cup time Again.

Two Birthdays and Rolly's Feline Fine

Well lots have been happening this past while and only now I have had a moment to catch up on everything......Yes Bryony Jane from down the lane turned 22 on March 30th and and Conor has just got to the big 17 on April 11th. That means I am getting a little older myself,,,,little I said!!!!!
I have been back and forth the U.S. and Canada like a bees wing and last week the Rollymeister, my feline friend of 14 years made a few flights herself. Ha Ha!!! She hit Chicago and bounced into Detroit Feline Mighty Fine.
Yes, she now has a new home in Michigan with her canine buddy Tanner Bug.
Kellee is doing great and I am now calling her Doctor Doolittle as she is looking after the Woofs and Purrs!!! Shelbey has found a new homework partner as Rolly likes to plop herself right next to her on the couch everytime the books come out.
Bryony Sean and Conor came to the cottage today for a nice brunch that they scarfed down pretty good and we watched Nanny 911,, thank goodness I have good kids.
Anyhow back on the bird this Thursday and its Minneapolis and then Detroit to see my Wonderful wife for 5 days. Duffy's Friday night to do a little twangin and we are also getting some pics taken on Sunday for the wedding invitations.Yes the beach wedding will now be Feb 20th 2010 thanks to our good friend Scooba!Ha Ha....
My sisters in the U.K. have other names for Scooba aka Miss Hipissore but I cannot publish them sorry!! I will leave it to your imagination but they are not pleasant ones.
Oh well you get what you deserve in life I suppose. Ha Ha! I had a lot of fun writing this blog. Wish I could fill you in.........

Kellee has joined the Stewart Clan

Well folks, here is some great news for you all to enjoy,,
April the 3rd 2009 was a great day for Kellee and I as we tied the knot in Jackson Michigan USA. Yes we got married and we are both extremely happy, I just knew from the day I saw her she was the one for me and she has proven to be everything I could ever want and more. Thanks Mrs Kellee Ann Stewart.
We will have to check it out but I think you are the tallest lady in the Stewart clan now baby!
We met in Mexico and we will be having our ceremony on the beach there next February with our children, family and friends from both sides of the Atlantic. It has been a year of travelling back and forth from Canada to the U.S. to see each other and being apart more than a day is something we really don't want anymore.
Thanks to Sheila, Phil, Matt and the Leduc gang for being there with us on the day.
I cant wait for all Kells family to meet my family next February on that white sandy beach in Mexico. It will be a little warmer I think ha ha!!
We were going to get married in our Red Wings shirts but Kells went one better and got our Team Stewart shirts printed ha ha!! Great Idea Baby. I know our jeans were comfy too!!!!
It makes me wonder why people spend so much money on weddings?

Kells sent me a quote a year ago from Benjamin Franklin that has stuck with me.
"Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind than the outward circumstances"

All I know is that she makes me very happy and I would have married her in a tent if that's all that was available.

Thanks folks and the invitations for Mexico are coming this summer.
If you don't get one, we don't like you ha ha Just kidding!!!!

White sands to White snow

Hello gang
Kells and I are back from the sun and had a great time. Coming back to these temperatures are not so fun.It is -40 as I write this blog,Ive got my gloves on right now ha ha!(just kidding)
It was so nice for us to have two full weeks together with nothing to do except wander where the next Blue Hawaiian was coming from. That's a drink by the way!!!
We ventured to new beaches, ate great food and met a lot of nice people. Kells loved Xpu Ha which has been my favorite beach since I have been playing down there. It was so nice to sit back and finally share it with her. We listened to our tunes, sipped on some cocktails and soaked up the sun. Life's a beach ya know!!!I think the highlight of the holiday for Kellee was her run in with a 1 inch lizard that landed on a couch beside her.ha ha! Never seen her move so fast and her choice of words are not bloggable.Sorry!

White sands to White snow. There's a song in there somewhere!!

Anyhow you all take care
all the best

Birthday Boy Turns 18

Hi Gang just posting a few snaps of Sean shooting a couple down for his Birthday. Yes he has finally got to that age when he can go have a pint or two... I think that's been going on already to be honest ha ha!!! A little tougher for Conor though sitting watching Sean and Bryony have a couple while he sipped on his coke. That time will come soon enough I am sure buddy.

"Happy 18th Birthday Sean"

Not long now before me and Kell head into the sun for a couple of weeks. Cancun, Puerto Aventuras and then Playa Del Carmen.... I think there may be a few drinks awaiting us down there also ha ha!!

The Bouncing Bambi Snow Bug

Hello gang and welcome back to the Welshman's news from Cannuck land / Obama Land
Jan 16-17-18 weekend brought my darling over the border to Alberta Canada on a last minute flight plan. It was on her birthday in May when Kells last visited the Great White North and it was so nice for her to see the kids again. Luckily she did not have to experience the chills that Canada normally brings to us at this time of the year.
She is one lucky beggar I tell ya! ha ha.
We had a great weekend with many friends eager to say hello and share a glass of Vino. Saturday night took us to the Redstone Grill where we met the kids and a lot of my close friends for some great food and cocktails.
We had a nice afternoon on Sunday at the cottage barbecuing and taking pictures with Bryony Sean and Conor.
I even managed to get Kellee out onto the lake, she thought she would fall through the ice until she found out it was two feet thick ha ha!
Somehow I managed to get a snowball in the back of my head on our short walk back to the pad.Nice eh!! I lend her my gloves because I thought her hands were cold only to find out she is packing a nice frosty one for me.

Payback is coming soon!!!!
Maybe Mexico in a few weeks will bring her a surprise ha!!!

I just got back myself on Tuesday morning from a 5 day weekend back in our Michigan home with Kells, Shelbey and the one and only Bugster. That Canine beauty is so much fun in the snow bouncing around after her ball. I think she is a Spaniel Bambi cross Ha Ha!
Did a little playing at a local pub called Duffy's which is really close to Kellee's office. Kells Mom Sheila came down for a couple of Zinfy's and had a bit of fun with us. A good time was had by all. Check Kells blog for pics at Duffy's, she is always so prompt and on the ball with her blog and my band blog updates. Thanks baby " I Love Ya"
Sean picked me up at the Airport and flew me back down HWY 2 to get to see my eager little guitar students.I thought I was on another flight in Sean's mean machine. Gonna buy him a lighter pair of shoes to drive in. ha ha!

Anyhow I am outta here
Take care gang

Engaging the New Year

Happy New Year everyone!
Christmas went great and the gathering at our home was a lot of fun with an abundance of food and soft drinks ha ha!
New Years Eve took us to Knights Steakhouse for a great meal with Sheila and Phil
and then back to their home for a glass of wine to finish off the evening.
At least that's what Kellee thought! I however had a different plan to end 08.
Yes! when I say engaging the New Year, I really meant it.
I picked the right moment, got down on one knee and asked Kells if she would marry me. Thankfully she said "YES" and I am now one relieved and Happy Fiance. Phewww!!!
From the first day I met her, I knew she was the person I would be with for the rest of my days. We are both very happy and will keep you posted for the big day.
We are planning a very simple beach wedding in Mexico on Feb 14th 2010.
(No Shovelling required)

Hope 2009 brings you everything you need.
All for now
